  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups sliced almonds or other nuts optional
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup dried fruit of choice
  1. Line two baking sheets with non-stick foil or parchment paper. Head brown sugar, butter, maple syrup and honey together over medium-high heat until butter is melted and sugar dissolved. Combine oats, rice crisp cereal, cinnamon and nuts in a large bowl. Pour melted mixture over dry ingredients and quickly toss to coat. Divide mixture between the two pans. Place in preheated 350-degree oven for 20-25 minutes until browned. Stir after 10 minute and rotate pans for even toasting. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Stir in raisins and dried fruit. Break up granola once cooled. Store in a container for up to a week.
