Pa enjoyed singing Yankee Doodle, now it is your turn!

Yankee Doodle went to town A-riding on a pony, Stuck a feather in his cap And called it macaroni.

Yankee Doodle keep it up, Yankee Doodle Dandy, Mind the music and the step, And with the girls be handy.
Father and I went down to camp, Along with Captain Gooding, And there we saw the men and boys
As thick as hasty pudding.

I found two videos about Yankee Doodle. Songs of America does one with children singing and dressed in period costumes. Another explains why they called it macaroni.
